Seedlip

Seedlip è il primo distillato non alcolico al mondo. L'idea è figlia dell'inglese Ben Branson che, ispirandosi ad un libro del celebre fisico John French sull'arte della distillazione, decide di acquistare un piccolo alambicco pot still e iniziare a distillare, partendo da radici ed erbe del suo giardino. Il primo risultato concreto è stato Seedlip Garden 108, un mix di fieno, piselli, menta, rosmarino, timo e luppolo; poi è arrivato Seedlip Spice 94, con pepe di Jamaica, corteccia di Cascarilla, limone, pompelmo, cardamomo e quercia. Ogni ingrediente viene distillato separatamente, poi filtrato e diluito insieme agli altri. Ci vogliono circa 6 settimane per ottenere una bottiglia di queste bevande prive di zuccheri, calorie e allergeni.
