Zacapa Ron
La distilleria Zacapa nasce nel 1940 e rappresenta la più importante realtà del Guatemala nel panorama della produzione del rum.
Le piantagioni di canna da zucchero di proprietà dell'azienda sorgono in un territorio estremamente favorevole alla sua coltivazione grazie principalmente alla fertilità del terreno: il rum che ne viene ottenuto a seguito dei processi di distillazione viene fatto invecchiare a circa 2300 metri di altitudine in botti di rovere bianco precedentemente utilizzate per sherry e bourbon, acquisendo così un gusto estremamente riconoscibile nel perfetto "stile spagnolo", rendendo il marchio Zacapa uno dei più apprezzati al mondo.
