The Maso Toresella Riserva 2021 Cavit Chardonnay is a mountain wine from the famous Valle dei Laghi, at the foot of the Dolomites, not far from Lake Garda. It originates in a small corner of paradise where the vineyards enjoy a perfect temperature range. The Maso Toresella Riserva 2021 Cavit Chardonnay is the result of meticulous vinification, making it pleasantly drinkable. After the manual harvest in mid-September, the grapes are transported to the cellar for destemming and crushing. During vinification, the must remains in contact with the skins for 10 days at a controlled temperature of 10°C. Alcoholic fermentation takes place entirely in lightly toasted oak barriques, 1/3 new and 2/3 second and third passage. It ages for several months in stainless steel and for another 24 months in bottle.
