Mirto Rosso Lucrezio Barrique 'Terra Smeralda'
Lucrezio Rau's Mirto Rosso 'Barrique 38°' is produced by selecting the finest myrtle berries (Myrtus communis), hand-picked. The wild berries, delivered daily, are carefully sifted and infused. This begins the maceration process, which takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately forty days. After this period, the fruit is separated and filtered to obtain the infusion, the base for the liqueur, which is then aged in small oak barrels for several months.

Lucrezio Rau's Mirto Rosso 'Barrique 38°' is a typical Sardinian liqueur made from the maceration of hand-picked wild berries, mainly from Gallura. Its dry, pleasantly bitter, and perfectly tannic flavor is expertly enhanced by its aging in barrique, lending it a refined flavor. The wild berries, delivered daily, are sorted and infused for the maceration process, which takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
