Plantation Rum
Plantation Rum del gruppo Maison Ferrand, è celebre per il metodo della "Double Aging": i rum vengono prima invecchiati nel paese d'origine (Caraibi, Mauritius, Fiji) in botti ex-bourbon, poi spediti in Francia dove affinano ulteriormente in botti da Cognac ex-Ferrand. Questo secondo passaggio in rovere limousin conferisce al distillato note più complesse di frutta secca, spezie e vaniglia. La selezione delle distillerie partner in tutto il mondo e la cura nella scelta delle botti sono il cuore del progetto, che mira a valorizzare i terroir tropicali attraverso la maestria europea nell'invecchiamento.
