Rum Papalin 5 Yo 47° was born from a blending project conceived by Luca Gargano, driven by the desire to return to the rum production of the late 19th century, when Jamaican merchants created blends without identifying the distilleries from which they were made. This particular type of rum gradually disappeared starting in the 1970s, when the distilleries began selling their products. Papalin revives this ancient tradition with the aim of combining rums entirely produced and aged at the distilleries on a single island.
