On the palate, it is very dense, with particularly rich fruit. Very savoury in the mid-palate but balanced by the freshness of menthol notes. The rounded and well-ripened tannins favor a long, persistent finish.

Brunello di Montalcino Argiano 2018 is a wine of incredible elegance, the fruit of centuries of history. Since 1888, the estate's finest Sangiovese grapes have been used for its production. The Argiano estate, located in the southern part of Montalcino, extends over 100 hectares, more than half of which are vineyards. The wooded hills and the proximity to Mount Amiata offer protection from easterly winds and, above all, excellent temperature ranges, perfect for producing wines with good freshness and structure. Argiano selects grapes from its finest vineyards and ages the wine in two different types of wood: the first year in French barriques and tonneaux of various sizes to strengthen the wine's innate structure, and the second year in larger Slavonian oak barrels, which allow the wine to acquire balance. After aging in wood, the wine is transferred to concrete tanks. The result is a bottle capable of winning the title of best wine in the world 2023 by Wine Spectator.
