Etna Rosso Girolamo Russo 'San Lorenzo' is produced in Contrada San Lorenzo (Randazzo) on the northern slope of Etna from Nerello Mascalese grapes and a small percentage of Nerello Cappuccio, from 90-year-old vines. The wine ages for at least 20 months in oak barrels. Annual production is approximately 4,700 bottles.
