Mersault Village Fichet is a blend of four different plots, bringing together the qualities of their soils, producing a balanced, smooth, minerally wine with a great finish. Les Narvaux, with a southeast exposure, is located on stony soil over a hard rock subsoil. This plot produces elegant, minerally wines. Les Clous, situated on shallow marl (30-40 cm), produces delicate, elegant, and minerally wines. Le Limozin has a beautiful, moderately deep, sloping soil that produces long, rich wines. Les Criots and Les Crotots are located on very rich soil and produce generous, slightly buttery, and rich wines.
