Los Siete Misterios Coyote Mezcal is produced by two brothers, Eduardo Mestre and Julio Mestre. The idea was born in Mexico in 2010 with the aim of reviving the tradition of mezcal making, promoting local trade, and fostering the culture of small producers with a contemporary approach. Los Siete Misterios Coyote is made with maguey Coyote, a particularly rare agave. The resulting mezcal has distinctive herbal notes. Due to the rarity of this agave in the Sola de Vega region, Siete Misterios Coyote Mezcal is extremely rare and difficult to find. This mezcal is distilled in clay pots, and all grinding is done by hand.
