Herzu Ettore Germano Riesling is produced in the municipality of Cigliè (Alta Langa) from Riesling grapes. The calcareous soil with stony substratum is essential for providing the minerality that characterizes this grape. One of the finest Piedmontese Rieslings and also the winery's flagship wine.

The Ettore Germano Herzu Riesling is 100% Riesling. After fermenting for over a month at a controlled temperature, it is then refrigerated to prevent malolactic fermentation and left on the lees to stabilize for 6 months. It has a slightly tropical aroma when opened young, then shifts toward vegetal aromas when opened more maturely. It ages well, as is typical of the grape. Excellent with raw fish and moderately hot fish soups.
