Shipped free
The Barolo Margheria Massolino draws much of its character from its calcareous soil, with a slightly higher percentage of sand than our other subzones. First produced in 1985, like the great Barolos of Serralunga, it has great aging potential.

Barolo Margheria Massolino is produced with Nebbiolo grapes from the Me.G.A. 'Margheria' vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba. This traditional Barolo features long fermentation and maceration in oak vats at around 30°C. It is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for up to 30 months and then refined in bottle for approximately one year in dedicated, cool, dark cellars. This fantastic vineyard combines the powerful terroir with the elegance and harmony of the soil's sandy content. Traditional vinification and aging are the natural complement to the grapes' extraordinary characteristics.
