Clear, with an intense ruby red color and some purple reflections even if it is no longer very young when opened.

On the nose, it's an intense wine. Hints of blackberry and plum complement the spices.

Delicate tannins are noticeable on the palate, pairing well with the acidity and savory flavors. Plum and black cherry notes emerge at the end.

The Susumaniello 'Serre' from Cantine Due Palme should be served at around 16°C and opened young. This wine doesn't age long, but it's excellent with baked lasagna or grilled meat.

Cantine Due Palme's Susumaniello 'Serre' is made exclusively from Susumaniello grapes. The grapes are hand-harvested and macerated in horizontal silos for almost two weeks. After completing alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to barriques for six months.
