What to pair wine with Franciacorta Mosnel Brut

Franciacorta Mosnel Brut is a wine for all meals, perfect as an aperitif.

Since 1979, Franciacorta Mosnel Brut has embodied a harmonious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir grapes, recreating the blend that forms the foundation of their style with each harvest. After nearly 24 months on the lees, the Brut reaches its equilibrium and is ready for disgorgement. Vinification is carried out without the skins, using a pneumatic press with separation of the first and second pressings. After 12 hours of decantation at 15°C, selected yeasts are added for fermentation, partly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and partly in small oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation and racking precede the blending of the cuvée, which is then bottled in the spring, sealed with crown caps, and laid horizontally in stacks for secondary fermentation. The stacked bottles remain in our cellars for at least 24 months before remuage. Subsequently, disgorged and dosed as 'Brut', they receive a mushroom cork and wire cage. At least two more months of aging are required before this Franciacorta is released to the market.
